Keep Plano Beautiful (KPB) empowers individuals to take responsibility for enhancing their community through litter awareness, prevention and beautification.
KPB volunteers began with a vision of a cleaner, more beautiful Plano in 1987 and since then have launched award-winning programs, which continue that vision today ... for tomorrow!

KPB's eight-member board is appointed by the Plano City Council. Members may serve two consecutive two-year terms. KPB is a member of the statewide organization, Keep Texas Beautiful and also a member of the national organization, Keep America Beautiful.
Presentations and other outreach programs are offered on litter reduction and other environmental subjects to groups and are available free of charge.
The Results
The greatest factor in the achievement of these goals is the tremendous spirit of cooperation and participation found in every aspect of the community. The result for Plano citizens is a cleaner and healthier quality of life!
